Walmart Supercenter

This Walmart does pretty good I’d say especially for catering to all the college students. It has most things they need but they are frequently running out of stuff. You have to go at the right times. If you go in the beginning of a semester expect nothing to be there. I suggest shopping in other towns and cities for what you need. I enjoy using the app. I have noticed it saves me a lot of time and money when I do. There have been a lot of boxes randomly in all the isles. I didn’t used to run into that. It blocks isles at times which I understand happens but they will just be left there with no one removing empty boxes or unpacking full ones. So just some minor things I think could improve.

This Walmart does a pretty good job for how much demand they are under. Sometimes items aren't stocked and the crowds can be a little crazy around the colleges schedule, but the employees do a good job of keeping up for the most part. The line for the self check out moves quickly.

Bought this yogurt yesterday and opened it today to give my toddler breakfast. It was chunky and looked wrong. I didn’t think to look at the expiration date before purchasing as checking to make sure perishable stock is within it’s date is the bare minimum a store can do. To add to this, this Walmart is consistently crowded with tons of packed pallets of product crowded in between the isles making maneuvering the store a pain especially during busy times. And as a side note the produce is typically either unripe or rotting. Truly a lovely experience shopping here.

Friendly store. Nice setup for pickup area away from the regular flow of traffic. Smaller store, so the selection varies. As in most stores, lots of local flair, which made shopping nice. Limited access to manned registers. Easiest check out is the self checkout area. Frustrating, as in most Walmarts, to have workers standing there chatting as they watch you check out your purchases. I get it that they need to monitor for theft, yet it is annoying, nonetheless. There are cameras everywhere and they can do nothing to apprehend shoplifters so maybe their time could be spent better elsewhere. Seriously frustrating 😒

As a former assistant manager and home office associate, I know a good walmart. This one is OK. Some of the staff are really good, most not so much. People doing online orders are rude and make you move instead of getting out of your way. People moving freight are even more rude. My manager would have never gone for that. Customer is number one. But not so much here.
